Online Press Release Marketing Traffic Tips

Here’s a quick video I made from beautiful Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. In it, I discuss how how crucial online press release marketing is for traffic generation and give some tips on how / where to distribute your content.

In my experience,  online press release marketing is one of the MOST underutilized forms of promotion by businesses of all types. Many are just too Goo-Goo eyed over social media and have forgot about this ultra-effective PR strategy.

Take a moment to also watch some of my other videos on this blog, too.

If you’re the type of business owner that wants to take more vacations, then the information and content I have here is definitely for you. I’ve become a professional “vacation ninja” (term I coined just 2 seconds ago) of sorts because of the knowledge skill-set I’ve acquired in the last few short years.

I’d love to help you do the same. Helping you take more vacations 😉

  1. Exactly!

Press releases have been forgotten in the online world for there effectiveness in building trust, reputation, exposure and the SEO effects – mostly in favor of social media (since it is todays big buzz). Don’t get me wrong – I believe in social media – but well positioned PR can be an extremely powerful ally in any marketing campaign.

Glad to see we’re on the same page.

Not a strategy I’ve used much, as I’ve wondered what the press release should include, how long, etc. Any tips there?

  3. Couldn’t agree more. Not only are these under used, but they are simple to do and once you get a few under your belt you can template them which really makes them a piece of cake.

Philip…. Press releases can be about any news related to your business or practice. You can even make them about product launches or events happening. At minimum, you’ll want to created and mass distribute 1 each month.

Matthew … You’re totally right. PR’s build trust and get mass exposure very rapidly. Thanks for sharing 😉

Thanks Dr. Parham! … Amanda, you can go to Elance.com and post a project stating exactly what you’re looking for in terms of ghostwriting. As people bid, you can view their past work, portfolios and can make the best choice based on your individual needs. You can pay by project or you can hire someone by the hour to get consistent writing and content.

    That’s a million dollar tip… shhh 😉
