With communication evolving the way it has over the last few years, it’s critically important that you (as a chiropractor) reach the masses where they already are. It’s no big secret that practically everyone is on Facebook these days, too.

In fact, the average time spent on the mammoth social network exceeds a whopping 45 minutes per day per user.

With that said, what are you doing to fully leverage Facebook to spread the chiropractic message of health?

Do you have an automatic, scalable system in place working for your practice 24 hours a day?

As times change, we must adapt.

One of the best ways to get your message to the local community is to conduct chiropractic health talks on Facebook using the new FB Webinars system. Here are the 5 most powerful benefits and reasons why you MUST be doing educational, automated webinars for your practice.

1) The recorded webinar can work 24/7 around the clock for you reaching countless more local, prospective patients in very little time. At an in-office health talk or screening outside, you’re trading time for work. There’s no automation or leverage.

This places a bottleneck on the amount of patients you can attract since there’s only one of you.

With an automated webinar system on Facebook, you can get the chiropractic message to thousands in the comfort of their own home. This provides maximum scalability with zero continued effort on your part.

2) With a webinar, you get to touch people with your voice and they can see you. It’s possibly the next best thing to face-to-face interaction. The person viewing the presentation gets to know, like and trust you without actually coming into your office.

You can easily position yourself as a “go-to” expert and trusted resource if you do it right.

3) You get the advantage of being the first chiropractor in your local market to communicate in this fashion. People remember first, very few remember seconds.

I can pretty much guarantee that no other doctors in your town are reaching the masses in this fresh way so the opportunity is ENORMOUS at the moment.

4) You’ll bring exponentially more traffic to your chiropractic website and gain tremendous free exposure. Here’s the deal. When local Facebook users click on your ad to view the webinar, they’re directed to a normal Facebook app page.

When they click through to view the presentation, the app lets their friends know they’re watching it. Since the average Facebook user has well over 200 friends, this is great indirect referral traffic. This is so effective it’s crazy.

5) Prepare for your new patient volume to SURGE! Webinars have a track record of converting better than practically any other online marketing medium.

This is because you can build rapport quickly in a setting that’s comfortable for the viewer. They feel they have the power of choice and that they’re not being “sold to.”

Chiropractic health talks on Facebook can add a powerful new dimension to your marketing and communication with the public. They’ll help you spread the message of chiropractic quickly, attract more of the type of patients you want, and dramatically increase your practice revenue.

The sooner you get involved, the better.

Because I believe this system so much and have seen it work incredibly well with dozens of my clients, here’s what I’m going to do for a limited time.

When you invest in the FB webinars system at this link for your own practice, I’m going to give you The Ultimate Facebook Ads Marketing Blueprint as a special bonus!

Facebook ads are the best way to flip-a-switch and drive traffic to your automated webinar.

I need you to know how to do it right so you get the best ROI and achieve the lowest cost-per-click on Facebook.

This course sells every day for $97 but it’s yours free when you get started doing webinars on Facebook. Just email your receipt to info@dcmobiletext.com after you sign-up. I look forward to hearing your success story!

After watching the majority of fellow chiropractors use Facebook haphazardly, while making things more complicated than they need to be, I felt the need to offer some guidance.

A handful of doctors are harnessing the enormous social network the right way to become famous locally, create surges of website traffic, and attract a swarm of new patient referrals. Here are a few tips to jump-start your Facebook practice marketing in the right direction:

Be empathetic with your friends, fans, and audience

Chiropractors really need to put themselves in the position of other friends on Facebook. You cannot dominate the conversation and expect to build strong relationships. It’s important to listen to what others have to say first, then respond appropriately.

You can provide user feedback by “liking” status updates, using the Facebook share button, or by commenting on a friends post. Spend a few minutes each day doing each thing mentioned. The news feed makes it easy for you to make this happen.

Be warned… the quantity of feedback / value you offer is directly proportional to the credibility, trust, and liking your create with your Facebook friends and fans.

Use the Appropriate Etiquette

Here’s the deal. When other users accept your friend invitation, it doesn’t automatically give you the right to spray links to your website on their wall. That’s not what people are looking for. This makes you look stupid and isn’t polite.

Secondly, don’t throw your links in messages when you send a friend request. It’s more annoying than anything else and your acceptance rate will be minimal to zero. People can sense your true intentions.

Don’t Alienate your Friends / Fans, Engage them:

Realize that people on your list are not the same. Not everyone thinks health is a top priority. Don’t always post the same type of content. Mix it up with quotes, open-ended questions, and jokes. Show a human side that makes you appear genuine and real.

Never Assume Others Want to Be in Your Group

Don’t automatically add people to groups that you create. That will get you in trouble quick. This was one of Facebook’s bonehead ideas, to let other people just ad anyone to groups. Always get permission first before adding others. Invite them and let them make their own choice.

Get a custom Facebook Fan Page Built

The first thing to do is to create a Facebook business page, also called a fan page. You can go to Facebook.com/pages to do this. You’ll want to have a custom fan page created that looks professional. This particular page is where visitors will land when they initially see you.

The goal of this unique page is a couple things. First, you want to get the Facebook user to “like” your fan page. Next, you must provide an ethical bribe so the user offers-up their contact info (name / email) to you.

I would definitely recommend that you get a professionally done video with your Facebook fan page. It ads a WOW factor and separates you from the rest of local doctors. There’s an old saying that goes “you never get a second chance to make a first impression.” You can find the agency that created my video here.

Start Using Facebook Ads

Of the many ways to get an avalanche of targeted local traffic to your chiropractic website, this is the fastest way. It’s literally like flipping a switch. The Facebook ads platform can be a little complicated, hence the reason I created an entire training around it. You really have to be detail specific to be successful with Facebook advertising.

If you’re serious about becoming a master of Facebook Advertising WITHOUT making the expensive mistakes that most initially make, you’ll want to grab a copy of The Ultimate Facebook Ads Marketing Blueprint. In it, you’ll discover all of the most effective strategies from a chiropractor that’s spent over $107,000 on this medium to date.

You’ll learn which images pull clicks and traffic like gangbusters, how to attain a rock-bottom cost per click (CPC) every time, expensive mistakes 97% of chiropractors are making when using Facebook Ads, the RIGHT way to follow-up with an interested prospective patient on Facebook (most chiropractors NEVER do this), and much more…

Use Facebook’s Check-in Function for Smart-Phones

I absolutely adore this feature. You should have EVERY single patient that has an iPhone or Android “check-in” on Facebook from their smart-phone whenever they’re at your clinic. This gets you mass exposure quickly since all of the users friends on the social network will see where they’re at.

Offer some type of incentive for current patients so they’re motivated to check-in at your practice for all of their friends to view. This is simple, endorsed viral traffic.

Create Valuable Content that Facebook Users Feel Compelled to Share

It is critically important that you provide value-driven information your Facebook audience feels compelled to share and take some form of action with. This action may include them commenting, clicking the LIKE button, or using the SHARE icon to spread the content to their friends.

This is really endorsed referral traffic and the best form of visitors you could get. The people that come from this type of marketing are high quality and are likely to select you as their chiropractor.

In this blog post, I’ve laid-out a few important strategies you can implement today as a chiropractor so you can begin to use Facebook the correct way. This is only a small fraction of what you need to know, though.

To learn how to take this information and turn it into an extra 10-15 new patients / month just from Facebook and create local fame, click this link. We operate the largest social media marketing training company in the world for chiropractors because what we teach gets doctors rapid results. See for yourself why so many are raving about us.

There’s a predictable science to pissing off your friends and other users on Facebook. Unfortunately, many have mastered this art with jedi-like precision. This post shares 9 practical tips about how NOT to annoy your friends on the social networking giant.

1. Use @Name and Photo Tagging Wisely

A couple things worth mentioning here. Doing this is sometimes ok if it’s real and genuine. It’s fine to mention a friend’s name in a thank you, if you’re quoting something they said, or re-posting information, etc. It’s not ok to tag them and put a link to check-out your website / fan page if you’ve just been accepted you as a friend.

If you’re going to tag another person in a photo, don’t do it if they look like they just got out of bed! Be respectful and think whether you’d want someone to tag you when you’re not at your best. Remember, every @name or photo tag will post on their wall or in their pictures for all their friends to see. You don’t want to unintentionally embarrass your peeps.

2. Don’t Add friends to Groups Without their Permission First

I’ve spoken about this before. It’s one of Facebook’s worst ideas thus far. It really doesn’t matter what cause your promoting or spreading awareness about, if you add someone to a group without permission you risk getting deleted / blocked by the user. This is just rude.

The right way is to send a message to the friend you’re looking to invite and politely ask them if they’d join your cause. Maybe give them some background about it and why you feel it’s important.

3. Don’t Spam and Post Links on Personal / Fan Page Walls

This is one of the most common things you’ll notice on Facebook. Other companies, brands, and marketers posting promo links on other users and fan pages walls. This is done in an attempt to siphon-off targeted traffic but usually backfires, getting you blocked by the user or group.

4. Don’t “Like” Every Post / Status Update

I would guess that every regular Facebook user has that one person that clicks LIKE on every status update you post, every photo, etc… Here’s the deal, though.

It’s a genuinely cool feeling that people listen to what you have to say and give feedback. However, if you click “like” on every single post, that tells users there’s a good chance you’re not reading every post or listening to what they’ve said!

Personally, I don’t like every post enough to click the Facebook link even with some of coolest people I respect, follow, and consistently turn to for advice. It’s unnatural. That’s just how it is and most people are similar.

5. Don’t Place Links in Friend Request Messages

If you send a friend request to someone with a promo link in your message, your acceptance rate dramatically plummets. You look self-serving and not really interested about who you’re connecting with. Don’t do it.

6. Don’t Reply to Mass Broadcast Messages

We’ve all seen these. Sometimes it’s inevitable but spammers get onto your friends list. Then, they send a mass message or general broadcast to a few hundred folks, then those people reply to all. ARGHHH, Charlie Brown!!

Sometimes this mindless chatter goes back and forth and practically fills-up your Facebook inbox. In my book, these individuals just won a ticket on a high speed train to the town of Deletion!

7. Don’t Invite your Friends to Play Games / Apps Every Other Day

Come-on, now! Be respectful of your friends and understand the apps that you’re playing before allowing them access. Some have settings you can turn-off to be respectful to your friends and others do not.

I don’t want to play Farmville or Mafia Wars so stop inviting me and blowing-up my news feed!

8. Don’t have a Cluttered Wall Full of Junk

I see quite a few brands and prominent public figures that allow any old thing to be posted on their wall. This is suicide because it detracts from the message of the company. It’s real annoying to visit your favorite public figure’s page, then have to sift through a bunch of crap on the wall to find what they had to say.

Moderate and filter what you allow on the wall. Do it often, too! If you don’t have the time, then hire someone to manage it for you.

9. Comment on your Status Updates as Facebook Users Respond

I don’t care how famous you are, or if you’re a company as large as Apple. The worst thing you can do is post something, then get 1,000 comments and likes, then never comment on that same post where so much interaction has occurred.

If brands and celebs consistently did this one thing alone (actually engage full-on), they’d build so much more good will with their audience and dramatically boost their revenue.

No one likes to comment where there isn’t any feedback by the fan page owner. People also don’t like to feel like there’s no one listening on the other end. This is pretty common sense.

Listen, one of the keys to profitably kicking-ass with social media is to treat your personal friends, business page fans, and follows like you treat people offline. There are certain rules to good communication and rapport building but for some reason many ignore them when it comes to meeting other Facebook users.

Always be courteous and considerate toward your audience.

QUESTION: What do others do on Facebook that annoys you the most? Leave a comment below and let the community know.
