Turning a New Digital Page

This week marks a new, exciting time in my personal entrepreneurial journey. I’ve decided to expand my portfolio into mobile iPhone app development and marketing. There’s no denying mobile computing IS the future and early adopters ALWAYS profit the most.
I think it was just one of those things like… “If the guys that created Angry Birds could be so successful off of a simple game, surely I could do at least a fraction of what they’ve done.” I love challenges and this is a good one.
Being an experienced internet marketer, I feel I have a grasp on what creates desire, pain, and pleasure for any given market. I’m going to replicate this in a game for the masses just to see what happens.
I’m honestly pumped-up!
The interesting thing is, most iPhone apps that are successful are not built by marketers. I thought, imagine if I could team-up with a talented programmer and combine an awesome idea with the marketing skill-set I’ve acquired over the years. It’s a win-win.
My short term goal:
It’s really to harness my own creativity to help build an app for the masses that’s fun, emotional, and goes viral. With such a large market, my short term goal is to create an extra $1,000 per day in passive income. I’m absolutely convinced this can be done in a relatively short amount of time.
The growth of the mobile apps market is staggering and is expected to DOUBLE in the next couple years.
Eventually, I see myself having a handful of iPhone apps selling like hotcakes in the iTunes app store. I’ll keep you updated as my journey progresses. My first app is in development as we speak!
I may even put together a step-by-step training on how to get an app developed and brought to market for those that are thinking of doing something similar. I’m already learning a ton…

Congrats Matt, do you have any plans to build for Android too?
Thanks Jeremy… At the moment, I’m starting with the iPhone. I’m sure my guy will be able to integrate cross-platform later on, though.
Hi Matthew
How’s the app coming along? Interested to see whether it’s a ‘traditional’ health app or a game style health app or something else perhaps ad how you approach its development.
Trudy
It’s going well so far, Trudy. I’m just previewing it for the first time. It’s in Alpha at the moment but everything’s coming together nicely. I think we’ll be ready to launch in a month.
