Here’s a GREAT video I wanted to share with you by dot com mogul, John Chow<\/a>. It reveals (among many other gems) why most bloggers don’t make money online. John’s been blogging since 2005 and his blog pulls-in over $50,000 per month.<\/p>\n

Creating a blog is pretty easy overall.<\/p>\n

What’s hard is acquiring the knowledge, skills, and tools that actual make you money from the web. Like John, before I was a blogger, I was an internet marketer. We’re internet marketers that happen to have a blog.<\/p>\n

According to John, here’s why most bloggers fail and don’t make money:<\/p>\n

1) They’re bloggers and NOT internet marketers. You have to treat the blog like a business just as much as a relationship builder.<\/p>\n

2) There’s no investment. It doesn’t cost anything to start a blog. It’s easy-in, easy out. It’s an advantage and a disadvantage really. Because it cost nothing, many don’t take it seriously.<\/p>\n

3) They’re blogging for money only. Blogs are NOT a get rich quick medium. Making real money using them takes time and more effort than the average majority are willing to give.<\/p>\n

I agree with all of these points, as I’ve witnessed them first hand. You can build the best relationships in the world but if you don’t know how to monetize your brand or have a strong internet marketing skill-set, you’re sunk.<\/p>\n
