Very Dangerous…

In today’s bizarre environment, it’s very dangerous to only have one stream of income. Here’s a prime example. In the last year, I’ve had many business owners tell me a similar story to this one. A chiropractor gets a call from the local health department and tells them that one of their patients has Corona. So, they recommend closing the office for 10-14 days. The doctor complies then quarantines at home for the time period.
Has this happened to you? If not, what would you do if it did?
If you had a client or customer contract this virus with all of the hysteria at the moment, this could definitely be some bad press for your business. That may then lead to negative reviews, which would have a dramatic impact on your bottom line.
Not only that you might just be FORCED to close the doors for a couple weeks. How would your livelihood be affected? Could you go a long time without any new income rolling in?
Here’s why I’m even talking about this.
It’s so risky to have just one source of income in today’s time. This last year proves it.
I love helping doctors and business owners grow their brick and mortar locations BUT it’s also super important to plan for the future, in the event you cannot be in business any longer. What we are dealing with now should drive this point home more than ever.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. You have options AND immense power at your fingertips. For the last 16 years I’ve been teaching people how to create additional “Internet based” income streams on top of their current jobs or businesses.
These include things like:
– Selling physical products on Amazon
– Creating online courses that are digitally delivered
– Offering virtual coaching programs
– Building and marketing software
– Publishing, launching, and marketing a best selling book
– Launching an iPhone or Android app
– Learning affiliate marketing
– Buying businesses that are already making money
– And the list goes on
From what I’ve witnessed, these types online ventures are recession proof. Not only that but it’s a great way to DIVERSIFY your income. Ideally, you want your finances set up like the Parthenon. If one pillar goes down you still have multiple others supporting the overall structure.

Regardless of what you choose to do, prepare yourself and your family. Don’t get caught off guard again. People are spending money online more than ever on products and services that bring them value.
Read that last sentence again.
