3 Simple Instant Income Boosters

Real quick… I’m on a flight back home to Atlanta from San Diego at the moment and wanted to share with you some very valuable tips to help you make more money this year.

Here are 3 simple things you can do today in your business (online or offline) to boost your income literally overnight with little effort on your part.

1) Upsell to your existing customers

2) Get referrals

3) Charge more

Let’s examine these more in-depth, shall we?

Upselling to existing customers, patients, or clients

When you have a business like a chiropractic office or have your own products and services online, you get the opportunity to help hundreds or even thousands of people.

If you consistently over-deliver on your products and services, they become your fans and want more of what you have to offer.

So, your job is to give them MORE high quality and in-demand stuff that they’re willing to pay for.

If you’re a chiropractor, that could mean you offering different modalities, adjunct procedures or nutritionals in your chiropractic office that help keep them on the wellness path. You give them what they already want and it helps you increase your income.

If you’re in the information marketing business like me, it could be thinking laterally about other things you offer to your customers BESIDES your flag-ship product. This might include personal consulting, the creation of new products, etc..

Getting referrals

Referrals are one of, if not THE best source of new clients and they can be generated instantly from other satisfied patients or customers.

New referrals automatically place a higher value on your service because they were recommended by a close friend or colleague. Rarely do they ever complain about price either.

They gladly pay what you ask because of their confidence and trust in their closest friends.

The easiest way to get referrals to is ask customers directly. I like the old proverb, ¨Ask and ye shall receive.¨ It’s very true so never be shy.

Charge more

One of the biggest problems I see with fellow chiropractors and online marketers is that they charge way too little. When you charge more, you’re more selective and that’s a GOOD thing.

You also do the same amount of work … so, why not charge more?

It’s important to understand the value of what you provide to your patients or customers so you can confidently ask for higher fees. As I’m sure you’ve experienced, those that pay more are better customers, less demanding and rarely give you any hassles.

Doing this alone can have a dramatic effect on your bottom line starting tomorrow!

All three are great points for chiropractors to put into practice.

I’ve always been a fan of having a recommended product on hand for patients to buy from the doctor instead of having to make another stop or right another check. Whether it’s a cervical pillows, ice packs, nutritional products or topical analgesic creams; have them in view for patients to see that you stand behind what you recommend and make it convenient.

Hey….this technique has worked for grocery stores for years, why not implement the same strategies in your practice.

It is always great to be reminded of the tried and true. Thanks.

I like the idea of saving clients from another stop for products. I think I’m going to implement this with Fish Oil capsules. Everyone should take them, and we carry the very best in our office.
