Matt, very powerful and timely advice. Your video highlights one of my pet peeves with health professionals: Lists, list maintenence and our relationship with all our people on the list is, and always will be king. Again, very nicely said!
Thanks John. I agree!
That was a good video… though a little long. “Gatekeeper”, like that reference.
I never understood the push toward FB business pages especially since I was putting my effort into my own WordPress blog/site. And I have to say, after watching this video I am glad that I made that choice and kept control of my content. Maybe I missed out on a deal or two but I’m not so sure.
Thanks Doug. Facebook is a marketing and relationship-building tool, not a home. This is where many inexperienced marketers got it wrong. Sad thing is many “gurus” continue to teach this nonsense. You can still use Facebook strategically to rapidly build an audience, generate leads, and customers. However, I’m a big believer in not leaving your content to chance.
It’s impossible to predict social media websites sometimes. Facebook obligation is now to the shareholders first and foremost. Always be building a list off of social networks.
Invaluable information. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to share this. Btw, what type of Camera did you use to record the sharp video!
